As Co-Chair of the Scottish Forum on Natural Capital, Dr Hannah Rudman co-organised the Nature Finance into Action event, which brought together 150 stakeholders from Scotland’s natural capital community: investors, land managers, policymakers, scientists and project developers, to discuss one key goal: turning nature finance from conversation into action.
The March event in Edinburgh sold out in four hours, with over 60 on the waitlist, signalling the desire from our community to have these conversations, connect with each other to build relationships, and work towards the goal. The day brought together over 80 organisations from across government, finance, nature restoration, business and academia, we had a full room that reflects the breadth of the nature finance conversation.
